  •   The weather in November is pleasant, High 70's in the days and 60's at night. It might rain at times but the temp. will remain the same. Sun screen and a hat are a must. You will be right on the equator and the sun can be harsh. The safari van has a roof over you but the sun can still find you…beware! The weather is what will probably dictate what clothes you should have for your trip. When on the game drive, you will be in the safari bus at all times. The bugs will probably not be a problem this time of year. The dinners at the lodge are casual dress. If you would like to dress up, feel free!
  •   Power is 220 v and would require a transformer to operate power devices you would bring from the USA. Transformers can be found at Radio Shack for $25.00. Batteries are available but can be expensive.
  •   If you forget something ie. toothbrush etc.! Most items can be found at the lodges for sale. Most of lodges will accept US Dollars and have US prices on items.
  •   Food is served buffet style at the lodges. There is a wide selection of different food at each meal.
  •   There are some activities in the evenings after dinner at the lodges. All the lodges have nice lounges and places to hang out and compare stories about all the animals you saw that day.
  •   The animals are going to be spread over the landscape because this is the part of the short wet season. Do not expect to see all the animals in one place. You might see many babies because it is that time of the year. Plan on being out on Safari all day. Most full days in the park start with a game drive at 6:30 am, returning for breakfast. Then back out on the game drive until 6:00 pm. Some lunches will be eaten out on the game drive in the safari van.
  •   To Bring List:
