Lo and Ah-Mei were raised by the staff of the Cat Haven.
Hand raising of cats without the
experience and time needed to commit to the care
of these wonderful animals is not recommended.
Both Cam and Mei
like to sleep in the tree. You often see them in
a classic clouded leopard pose, legs draped over
a limb. This is Cam thinking, "Isn't life wonderful.......
Hey what is that below me?"
Clouded leopards are very good tree climbers.
This photo of Ah-Mei (left) shows a good example of
how long their tails are in relationship to their body.
The Clouded leopard uses their tail for help in keeping
their balance when moving branch to branch. Cam looking
