  • "Cat of Brazil" Help Dr. Ronaldo Morato study the cats of Brazil. The types of cats are both large and small. Ronaldo studies big cats such as Jaguars and Pumas and small cats like ocelots, margays and pampas cats. His organization is also trying to raise money to build a new research facility near Sao Paulo.
  • "The Spotted Cat of Tanzania" Help Project Survival buy camera traps to get a serval study going on the west side of Mt. Kilimanjaro. This will be the first part of a 3 part study to learn about the servals in the area. The work will expand to study leopards in the area.
  • "Small Cats around the World" Help Dr. Jim Sanderson study small cats around the world. Jim is considered one of the best small cat researchers in the world. He is working on projects in Southeast Asia and South America.
  • Linking Snow Leopard Conservation and People - Wildlife Conflict Resolution. Rodney Jackson will lead a multi-country research project involving local scientists and affected villagers in identifying and testing the best grass-roots measures for minimizing this conflict and encouraging shepherds to become better stewards of this important keystone species and its habitat. Cat of focus is the snow leopard.
  • Border Cat of the Southwest United States: The Border Cats Working Group is trying to save the cats that live in the border states of Arizona, New Mexico and Texas and the country of Mexico. Cats include jaguar, ocelot, jaguarundi and puma.
  • Amba Anti Poaching Team of Russia: The Tigris Foundation is funding a Russian anti poaching team headed by Andrei Yurshenko to protect the Amur leopard and tiger. They estimate there are less then 40 Amur leopards left in the wild.
  • Botswanan Cheetah Conservation Program: Wants to maintain and restore coexistence with people and a viable population of cheetahs. They also want to develop a long term management plan for both cheetahs and farmers.
  • De Wildt Cheetah and Wildlife Center: This organization is doing fantastic work with cheetahs in South Africa. They are working on protocols to release captive cheetahs back to the wild. They also work with African Wild Cats, Blackfooted cats and Wild Dogs.
