Project
Survival's "Coins for Cats"

Resolve is the word used for the children at Alta
School in Reedley, California. Vicky Bloom, 4th grade
teacher, wanted to instill in her kids that "knowledge
is power" and by helping researchers in the field
empowers us all with a better understanding of the
animal world. Alta students have raised over $3000
dollars for different projects around the world. Tying
kids to real people and real projects in the field
brings a personal aspect to the understanding that
is different than most conservation projects. It has
always been our greatest desire at the Project Survival's Cat Haven and Project Survival to involve young people
in real projects. Kids need to understand that all
of us working together can change the world. An important
lesson can be learned by giving without the expectation
of something in return, except the gratification of
knowing they helped save cats around the globe. This
tie to the natural world will be invaluable, as each
person grows older. Researchers Dr. Alex Sliwa in South
Africa, Lon Grassman in Thailand, Dr. Rod Jackson in
the Himalayas, Dr. Ronaldo Morato in Brazil and the
Tigris Foundation in Russia have all benefited from
the hard work kids have put into raising money for "Coins
for Cats" Join us in our efforts to save the greatest
of the world's predators. Call Project Survival at
