Did you
know?
- They are sometimes
called otter cats because look somewhat like an
otter when they move.
- They are found to
have 4 basic color coats; Red, Brown, Silver and
Black. You will find the color of their coats in
all phases of those basic four colors.
- They are still found
in the south west states of Arizona, New Mexico
and Texas.
- Scientist think
they are most closely related to the mountain lion.

Natural
History
The
jaguarundi is a small non striped or spotted cat found
in the Americas. They can be found in the South West
parts of the United States, down through Central and
South America. They range in size from 8 to 20 pounds.
Very little study has been conducted on this species
of cat.
